Music school in English
Yes. We teach in English, Swedish and Finnish, so there's no language barrier — Plektra is a comfortable choice for expats and international residents in Helsinki.
We teach guitar and bass. Private lessons suit children from age 7, teens and adults. Group lessons run for children and teens (9–16) and adult beginners (16+).
No. We teach complete beginners as well as more experienced players. Lessons start from the basics and move at your pace.
Private lessons are €67 per lesson (45 minutes). Group lessons are €29 per lesson (60 minutes), 13 lessons per term. Guitars are available to borrow for group students.
Lessons are held in central Helsinki on Albertinkatu, easy to reach by public transport. Private lessons are also available online.
