Do I need any experience to start guitar lessons?

No. We teach complete beginners as well as more experienced players. Lessons start from the basics and move at your pace, and you'll be playing real songs early on.

What ages do you teach?

Private lessons suit children from age 7, teens and adults. Group lessons run for children and teens (9–16) and for adult beginners (16+).

Do you teach in English?

Yes. We teach in English, Swedish and Finnish, which makes Plektra a good fit for expats and international residents in Helsinki.

How much do guitar lessons cost in Helsinki?

Private lessons are €67 per lesson (45 minutes). Group lessons are €29 per lesson (60 minutes), 13 lessons per term. Guitars are available to borrow for group students.

Where are the lessons held, and can I learn online?

Lessons are held in central Helsinki, easy to reach by public transport. Private lessons are also available online if that suits you better.
